Tree Walk

Learn the tools to identify local trees and shrubs or just sharpen your ID skills. Learn interesting  information about edible and medicinal uses as well! This walk is appropriate for all levels. We will be looking at multiple features such as twigs and twig arrangement, bark, buds, leaves, flowers, fruit/cones/seeds, form, etc. We will also stop to identify some interesting wildflowers we find along the way! 

 Led by Max McCormick- seasoned forager, wildcrafter; former USDA forestry tech and certified arborist. She currently teaches tree and plant related walks and workshops throughout the Cincinnati/ NKY region!

 **Please bring a notebook and pencil.**

Binoculars can be helpful but aren't required.

 $15- $30 suggested donation. Cash or Venmo accepted. 

 

We will be starting at the Landmark Tree Trailhead off of Carmel Manor Rd.  Additional parking at the Tower Park Basketball Courts.
