An Evening With Dr. Julian Campbell

The Fort Thomas Forest Conservancy, in partnership with the City of Fort Thomas, is pleased to host an evening with Dr. Julian Campbell, respected botanist and conservationist residing in Lexington, KY.  Dr. Campbell is considered Kentucky’s foremost authority on native plants, shrubs, and trees and since public awareness of native plant species is growing, this would be the perfect opportunity to learn from one of the foremost authorities. 

 Dr. Campbell will focus his presentation on conservation planning for the Central Ohio River Valley, and the natural history of this ecoregion. Dr. Campbell has a special interest in advancing collaboration among conservation groups and other plants-people to maximize the effects of their advocacy.

 His free presentation will take place on May 18, 2023 at 6:30 PM in the Mess Hall in Tower Park, 801 Cochran Avenue, Fort Thomas KY 41075. No reservation needed.
