Suggestion of the month – Garden Tour!
Block off some time on the weekend of June 22 and 23 and see some of the beautiful gardens in Fort Thomas on the Fort Thomas Forest Conservancy’s Annual Garden T0ur. Come Saturday, Sunday or both days. Tickets are good all weekend. You can buy them right here on our website IN ADVANCE and get a discount price for purchases of two or more. See details below. At Ticket Central in Tower Park you can pick up tickets ordered online on the days of the event and visit vendors selling great little items, go the perennial plant swap booth, and register to win a garden basket at the ticket booth. Fort Thomas is a great little town with pretty homes and gardens.
Did you know?
The Conservancy is quite active around the Fort Thomas Museum in Tower Park. Inside on the second level we have a mini natural history room with displays that would be interesting to all ages. Outside the museum the FTFC has established a Model Native Garden with plants and trees native to northern Kentucky. In its fourth year it is reaching its maturity. We still need professional signs to identify the species and hope to get a start on that this year with help from a $500 grant from the Campbell County Conservation District.
FTFC Garden Tour
The fourth annual Fort Thomas Garden Tour, presented by the FTFC, is slated for the weekend of June 22-23. This is a great opportunity to see some of the most beautiful gardens in the city.
